Attorney Description:
Julianne Grow Glisson was born in Albany, Georgia. She received her B.A. degree at the University of Georgia and juris doctor at Mercer Law School. Mrs. Glisson was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2002.
Mrs. Glisson has a diversified career before and after obtaining her juris doctor. Mrs. Glisson was a National Advance Staff Member of the White House under Vice President Al Gore. She also spearheaded international venture projects for the parent company of Samsonite, Culligan, and Botany 500. After her tenure in Washington, D.C., she moved home to Georgia and married Robert Ross Glisson of Savannah, Georgia. They have two children, ages 4 and 7.
Mrs. Glisson has successfully litigated both complex civil and criminal cases of a wide variety in State and Federal Courts, including property litigation, criminal defense, family law, juvenile law and personal injury. In addition to her trial skills and experience, Mrs. Glisson has devoted much of her time to the community with pro bono cases for battered spouses for the Safe Shelter program and to her church, Isle of Hope United Methodist. She is well known for her dedication to the arts and community with her commitments to The Telfair Museum and its fundraisers.
In 2006, Mrs. Glisson was chosen as one of the Top 40 Business Leaders under 40 of the Southeast by The Business Report and Journal. She is a member of the Savannah Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia ,Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Savannah Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and Savannah Trial Attorneys Association.
